Halie Filer, LPCA
Licensed Professional Counselor Associate
Certified PCIT Provider
I love working with children and families, especially during seasons when parenting feels overwhelming despite everyone doing their very best. As a parent of a toddler myself, I understand how intense those moments can be. There are times when emotions run high, routines fall apart, and even thoughtful, capable parents can feel unsure about what to do next. It can happen to anyone (including me sometimes)! What many families are looking for in those moments is not judgment or blame, but clear guidance and support that actually fits their child.
I’ve worked with families across a wide range of situations, from highly complex and high‑pressure environments to families who are deeply engaged, high‑functioning, and still feeling stuck despite their best efforts. That breadth of experience has shaped my calm, nonjudgmental approach and my belief that when parents are given the right tools and structure, meaningful change is possible. One of the most rewarding parts of my work is seeing families feel more confident, more connected, and more at ease in their day‑to‑day interactions.
